Runoffs and recounts
The races that aren't over after election night: the ones headed to a runoff and the ones decided by a point or less.
Runoffs
In Georgia, every general-election race needs more than 50%. If no one gets there, the top two meet again on December 1.
These will show here once votes are counted.
Races within a point
With at least 90% of the vote counted, closest first. Some states recount on their own below a set margin; in others the trailing candidate can ask for one.
These will show here once votes are counted.
Recount rules summarized from NCSL and Ballotpedia for Senate, House and governor races; states change them, so each state's election office has the final word. Margin = gap between the top two as a share of all votes cast.
