Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to read and use public opinion data. This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we've built in
- Data tables for every chart. Select "View data as table" under any chart. Charts also carry text descriptions for screen readers.
- Not color alone. Every series is named next to its value, and chart colors are checked for color-vision deficiencies.
- Keyboard friendly. A "Skip to content" link, visible focus outlines and no keyboard traps.
- Display options. The Accessibility button in the header offers larger text, high contrast, underlined links, reduced motion, a highly legible font and wider text spacing. Your choices are saved in your browser.
- Respects your settings. We follow your device's "reduce motion" preference automatically.
- Plain language and a guide to reading polls, in English and Spanish.
Known limitations
- Poll names, pollster names and source links come from a third-party data feed and appear as published.
- Linked source documents on other websites may not be accessible.
