# Polling Desk > Live 2026 midterm election results plus the latest U.S. political polls: approval, the generic ballot and Senate, House and governor races, with polling averages, betting odds, charts and free CSV downloads. Poll data comes from the VoteHub Polling API (https://votehub.com/polls/api/) and The New York Times poll list (via PollResults.org), both CC BY 4.0. A poll published by both appears once. Recent polls are refreshed automatically; the full archive is re-checked on a schedule. Race pages add prediction-market odds from Kalshi and Polymarket (implied probabilities, not forecasts) and election results from civicAPI (https://civicapi.org). Averages are simple 21-day trailing means of all polls ending in the window, with no pollster weighting or house-effect adjustment. The site is available in English (/) and Spanish (/es/). ## 2026 midterm elections Election day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026: 35 Senate seats (33 regular plus special elections in Florida and Ohio), all 435 House seats and 36 governorships. The home page carries a live results map (Senate, House, governors) that refreshes every minute on election night; results come from civicAPI.
